"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results."
A lot has changed since we began operating as a loosely organised volunteer group of cyclist ‘runners’ and nurses, carers and other key workers wanting to do a bit extra for our community in need. I am still adjusting to the growth of this whole movement, and have been honoured to meet some fantastic people along the way who have joined me on this journey.
The team you will see below are amazing professionals who offer up their spare time and skills to source food and other donations, and organise delivery and collection of parcels, for households in this area.
They are also in regular contact with local charities to plan relief efforts and coordinate signposting efforts for those who come to us for help.
A number of them even design the art you see, the material you read and handle the day-to-day management of our social media, phone lines and email correspondences.
I am fortunate to work with these people.
